Public Hearing for Budget Adoption
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF MILWAUKIE
The Milwaukie City Council will hold a public meeting on June 16, 2020 at 6:00 p.m., at 10722 SE Main Street, Milwaukie, Oregon 97222. The purpose of this meeting is to declare the City’s election to receive state revenue sharing funds, levy and classify property taxes, and consider adoption of the Budget Committee’s approved budget for the 2021-2022 biennium.
The BN 2021-2022 budget was prepared in accordance with the basis of accounting used in the preceding year and includes levying a property tax rate of $4.1367 per $1,000 of taxable assessed value for operations and $862,000 for general obligation bonds for FY 2021, and for FY 2022 includes the rate of $4.1367 per $1,000 of taxable assessed value for operations and $851,000 for general obligation bonds.
