COVID-19 Downtown Residential Parking Permit
The city has launched a temporary program for those living in the downtown area of Milwaukie who need to park near their homes for extended periods of time because of illness, self-quarantine due to exposure, or the need to care for someone ill.
If you live downtown and meet this criteria, you may apply for and receive a temporary permit to park in the lot behind City Hall or the library parking lot. The permits are limited to 2-week increments, with a maximum of four weeks per vehicle, to make sure enough parking stalls are available to those most in need.
To receive a permit, provide the following information to Shannan Coyle, police records specialist, at coyles@milwaukieoregon.gov:
- Name and phone number
- Address in downtown Milwaukie
- License plate number, as well as the make and model of the vehicle receiving the permit.
Please respect the intention of this program and reserve city parking lot spaces for those most in need as much as possible.
