Crafty Writers and Readers

We are a group of writers in SE PDX/Milwaukie who strive to develop our creative writing skills. Is there a book on writing you are dying to crack open and study, but have not yet motivated yourself to read or complete the exercises? Do you find yourself more motivated to write when you have others by your side who are also writing? Do you enjoy book groups that explore the craft of writing? The format of each meeting consists of:

A: A group sharing of insights gained from the reading and writing exercises.

B: Critique of work submitted by previous Wednesday to our Facebook group: found here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/craftywritersandreaders/

C: If time allows, we will also write from a prompt and voluntarily share if comfortable.

We are always open to new members. We are an evolving,  actively learning, diverse group with many different talents and strengths.
