Project Details
The project consists of approximately 11,200 cubic yards of pavement removal, the placement of 3,720 tons of base material, and the placement of 2,950 tons of asphalt on Omark Drive, Wake Street, and 39th Avenue.
The project also includes the construction of 128 lineal feet of sanitary sewer on Wake Street, the construction of approximately 110 square feet of concrete access improvement at the Roswell Storm Pond, and installation of two storm catch basins on Omark Drive.

Alerts & Updates
Update (5/05/2020): Paving of Omark Drive has been completed.
Update (Feb 28, 2020): Planning for construction completion for Omark Drive, the final 2019 SSMP street project, is underway. Work is anticipated to begin in late March or early April, depending on the weather. Construction coordination will include communication with Alpine Food to minimize impact on deliveries as much as possible.
Update (November 8, 2019): 39th Ave & Wake Street paving is complete. Shoulder gravel and clean-up work still remains. Omark Dr reconstruction has been postponed to Spring. Temporary asphalt patches have been constructed until work can be completed.
Update (October 30, 2019): The final layer of pavement will be placed on Friday November 1, 2019 for 39th Avenue between Roswell Street and Wake Street, and Wake Street between 32nd Avenue and the east end of the street. The roadways will be closed during paving and for approximately 12 hours while the asphalt cures.
Update (October 18th, 2019): Sanitary sewer construction work at the intersection of 39th Avenue and Wake Street has been completed. The roadway has been excavated along 39th Avenue and Wake Street and the base aggregate has been installed with find grading underway in preparation of paving the base layer of asphalt.
