Boards and Commissions

The city is Now Accepting Applications for all Boards and Committees.

Applications will be accepted until April 1, 2025. Not all applicants may be invited to participate in interviews. Invitations to participate in interviews will be sent in April and interviews will be held in April and May. Appointments to open positions will be made by the City Council in June.

Note: some boards and committees do not have vacancies and may not schedule interviews. In 2025, the Planning Commission has no vacancies. However, please include that commission on your application if you would be interested in being considered for future vacancies.

 

City Boards, Committees, & Commissions

Serving on a city board or committee is a vital way for the community to engage with its government. Most boards and committees are advisory bodies to the City Council, while others hear appeals, provide expertise, or review policies.

The city is only accepting applications for boards and committees in the spring of each year. However, there may be other opportunities to apply - check back for future opportunities. 

 

Youth Members
Apply today to participate in the city's youth board and committee (BC) pilot program. Up to two youth members will be appointed to the Arts Committee, Ledding Library Board, and Park and Recreation Board (PARB).
