Central Milwaukie Overview
Central Milwaukie serves as both a commercial hub for the city as well as a crossroads for several neighborhoods. The area is located at the junction of several neighborhoods and is a location where numerous commercial, housing, medical and civic activities coincide. The purpose of this site is to serve as a hub for information regarding activities, including commercial and residential development and capital improvement projects, that affect residents who live or work around Central Milwaukie.
Where is Central Milwaukie?
Central Milwaukie is defined as the area just west and separated from Historic Milwaukie by Hwy 224, with industrial/employment districts that are located northwest and southeast. The neighborhoods of Lake Road, Ardenwald and Hector Campbell are located directly west and east of the district. For the purpose of this information page, Central Milwaukie extends further north and east than the area defined within the Central Milwaukie Land Use and Transportation Plan and includes Providence Milwaukie Hospital and Hillside Manor and Park.
