Notice of Public Hearing for Proposed Use of State Revenue Sharing Funds
A public hearing for the proposed use of the City of Milwaukie’s State Revenue Sharing Funds for the 2023-2024 biennium will be held during the Budget Committee meetings on April 30, 2022 at 10 a.m. or May 7, 2022, at 9 a.m., if needed. The purpose of these meetings is to declare the city’s election to receive state revenue sharing funds to be used as General Fund revenues for General Fund operations. The purpose of the hearing is to provide the public with an opportunity to provide comment on the proposed use of these funds.
Budget Committee meetings will be held electronically by video conference. Public written comments may be submitted to finance@milwaukieoregon.gov. The Budget Committee will take verbal comments during the meetings, but may limit speaking time. To speak during the meetings, email finance@milwaukieoregon.gov. The public is encouraged to watch the meeting by logging into the Zoom webinar video conference (see meeting webpage for Zoom login information) or watch live on the city’s YouTube channel or Comcast Cable channel 30 in city limits. Comments may be submitted by email to finance@milwaukieoregon.gov.
