Future City Hall Building Receives New Signs
Exciting things are happening as the city repurposes the former Advantis Credit Union building into Milwaukie’s new
city hall building. At the end of February into the beginning of March, the new exterior signage was installed on the east and west sides of the building. The sign reads “Milwaukie City Hall” in white with a backlight to illuminate the sign at night.
While the building says Milwaukie City Hall, don’t let that fool you! All city services will remain at their current locations until the interior remodel is complete, which is expected in fall 2023. Once complete, the new city hall building will consolidate multiple city departments into a central location to provide better community services.
The building will feature a new City Council and municipal court chambers, and additional community meeting space. The city will provide additional updates as construction continues, and communicate any potential disruptions to city services.
