Proposal: The applicant is requesting a variance to the maximum fence height standard for fences located in a required front yard (e.g., within 20 ft of the front property line). If approved, the variance would permit the applicant to install a 60-in tall fence, exceeding the maximum 42-in fence height permitted for front yard fences under Milwaukie Municipal Code 19.502.2.B. The fence is proposed to be installed along the front of tax lot 1S1E35DD05400, which is currently developed with an off-street parking area. The off-street parking area is proposed to be removed and the area revegetated.
