Survey for Amphibian Egg Masses
Date
Join the North Clackamas Watersheds Council (NCWC) and the Wetlands Conservancy on amphibian egg mass surveys this winter! This year they are partnering to offer surveys at the Milwaukie Presbyterian Church Sanctuary, in addition to the surveys being conducted at the 3 Creeks Protected Area with Clackamas Water Environment Services! These surveys are an awesome way to explore local natural areas, while gathering important data on amphibian presence at these sites.
Surveys at the Milwaukie Presbyterian Church Sanctuary, a wetland connected to the Kellogg Impoundment, will be on February 14, March 7 and March 27 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Surveys at the 3 Creeks Protected Area will be held on February 8, February 28 and March 20 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Surveys at both sites are being reserved for community members in the North Clackamas area! If you live, work, or play in the area and would like to join them, email Peyton at peyton@ncwatersheds.org to learn more and register for a survey or sign up through the Wetlands Conservancy and attend their February 1 online training from 10:00 - 11:30 a.m.
