Wastewater Division Information
The Wastewater division maintains all the components that comprise the City's Wastewater infrastructure, valued at over $7,029,552.
The various components of the system include: 75 miles of sanitary sewer, 5 lift stations, and 1,607 manholes. The Division's mission is to maintain the system in a sustainable manner, at the lowest cost to the rate payer.
This fund continues an aggressive education program for our employees, to keep up with changing technology, rules and regulations. The division is also responsible for public education and implementation of the Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) Program.
The City contracts with: Clackamas County Services District #1 (Kellogg Treatment Plant), the City of Portland and Oak Lodge Sewer District for treatment of sewage. This division develops, projects and oversees the Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for the Wastewater infrastructure.
