UPDATE: Milwaukie Station Food Cart Pod is open!
The city is planning its first food cart pod to open early June 2017 next to the downtown MAX Orange Line at the Milwaukie/Main St station at 11301 SE 21st Avenue as an interim use for the next two years. The pod will offer up to 15 food cart spaces and provide water and electricity as part of the rental fee of $605-$705 (grey water not included). Site amenities include picnic tables and umbrellas with seating for 60, a beer/wine cart, portable toilets with hand washing stations, and landscape plantings throughout.
Interested food cart owners, please contact the Community Development office at 503-786-7600 for more information. Hablamos español y servicios de traducción disponibles.
