The City of Milwaukie offers the best of all worlds: an active small town feel with easy access to Portland and regional activities and services.
Within the City, residents regularly engage in city activities as board members, volunteers or simply as participants in a myriad of events organized by local residents and organizations. The Sunday Farmers’ Market, First Friday, and the ongoing poetry series are just a few of the many cultural offerings in the City.

What's Happening Around Town?
Riverfront Park - Milwaukie is proud to announce the completion of Phase II of construction on Riverfront Park. This milestone project improves access to Milwaukie’s magnificent riverfront just across from Downtown.
Milwaukie Farmer's Market - Milwaukie’s Downtown livens up every Sunday morning, May through October, for the Milwaukie Famer’s Market. Attracting more than 75 local and regional vendors, and even hosting live music, the farmer’s market is an excellent way to connect with the Milwaukie community.
artMOB and First Friday - Milwaukie has a dedicated arts group that has actively launched the City into the region’s art scene. Be sure to check out what’s going on. artMOB also hosts downtown Milwaukie’s First Friday every month that highlights local talent, unique artists, and vendors.
