Public Workshop #4 -- Monroe Street Neighborhood Greenway (Washington St bikeway, 37th Ave to Home Ave)
Date
This public meeting will focus on a bikeway route that is being proposed along Washington St between 37th Ave and Home Ave. This is part of the larger effort to make the Monroe Street corridor a functional neighborhood greenway route that is safer for all users (bicycles, pedestrians, and vehicles).
The proposal would affect the central portion of the Monroe Street route, where bicycles would be directed onto a multiuse path parallel to the railroad tracks on the McFarland site between Oak St and 37th Ave, then onto Washington St, and returning to Monroe Street on either Garrett Dr or Home Ave (via Ada Ln).
The meeting is an opportunity to learn more about this part of the proposal, with time for discussion and questions.
