Development Sites of Interest

Central Milwaukie has a number of large parcels of land including some that have been deemed ‘opportunity sites’ for the City of Milwaukie. These properties are ideal for commercial, office, or mixed used development. These sites are targets for their ability to be catalyst sites for their location, strengthening their immediate vicinity and creating vibrant activity centers.

Monroe Apartments (McFarland Site)
The McFarland site is a privately owned 7.2-acre site along 37th Avenue and Monroe Street. The property owner, Johnson Development Associates, is currently seeking land use approval to build 234 apartments on the site. Murphy Site
