Nature in Neighborhoods Idea Workshop

Have you ever wanted to help design a park for your neighborhood? Do you wish you could bring nature closer to your community? Do you have ideas that could make your neighborhood’s shared public spaces greener?

Metro’s community choice grants fund your parks and nature project ideas. You have the power to shape the nature of your neighborhood! 

$2 to 3 million will be awarded throughout parts of Clackamas County for parks and nature projects imagined and chosen by you and your neighbors, making the region better for everyone and investing in communities often left out of government decision-making. 

Join neighbors and community members to share ideas with Metro and local partners. Food and children’s activities are provided. Simultaneous interpretation in Spanish and ASL will be provided. Additional language support available upon request.
