Artist Reception at City Hall
Date
During the months of November and December, the Milwaukie Arts Committee (artMOB) is hosting a special holiday exhibit featuring affordable, gift bag-sized art created by local artists to be given as gifts at City Hall. The art work will vary throughout both months, and new pieces will replace those that are purchased.
“This is a great chance to get one-of-a-kind treasures to share with friends and family,” said Denise Baker, artMOB member. “The art is lovingly handcrafted by our talented community members, and they make wonderfully memorable gifts.”
A reception with the artists will be held on Sunday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at City Hall in conjunction with the Thanksgiving Farmers Market. Another reception will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. at City Hall during Milwaukie’s Umbrella Parade and Tree Lighting festivities.
Art may be purchased with cash or check during regular City Hall business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or during the artist receptions. For more information, visit www.milwaukieoregon.gov/arts-committee.
