City Services Transition to New City Hall Building in Mid-September

Following years of planning and construction, the city will move into a new city hall building in mid-September. To accommodate the move, the current city hall building at 10722 SE Main St. will close to the public on Monday, Sep. 11 at noon. The Johnson Creek Facility at 6101 SE Johnson Creek Blvd. will close Tuesday, Sep. 12 at noon.

Lake Road Neighborhood Picnic

The Lake Road Neighborhood District Association (NDA) is sponsoring a free neighborhood picnic. Event includes karaoke, food trucks, face painting, activities for kids, and raffle drawings! See the flier below for more information. 

Parking is limited on site so please walk, bike, or carpool if possible. 

Emma Sagor Hired as Assistant City Manager

After a competitive selection process, the City of Milwaukie selected Emma Sagor as the new assistant city manager.

“Emma’s experience working with local governments, both big and small, dedication to climate action and experience with strategic planning is a great addition to Milwaukie,” said Ann Ober, city manager. “We’re excited to add her perspective to the city’s projects we’re working on now and in the future.”
