Project Details

The city will be installing traffic calming infrastructure to promote bicyclist and pedestrian safety within the shared road. New bike/pedestrian warning signs will be installed at intersections facing traffic crossing the greenway. New green thermoplastic striping will be installed at intersections along the greenway to help bicyclist and pedestrian crossings. The City has provided the local Ardenwald NDA with yard signs to notify drivers of the greenway and to slow down. Contact your local Ardenwald NDA if you would like one!

Update (11/01/2024):

Crews have finished installing all proposed infrastructure. Pavement markings from Roswell to Van Water Street will be restriped during the Ardenwald North Improvements project after the roadway is repaved.

Update (7/17/2024):

Crew will begin installing new bike/pedestrian warning signs starting July 22^nd. Pavement marking will be installed shortly after. Pavement markings will be installed along 29^th Avenue from Balfour to Boyd Street. Pavement markings from Roswell to Van Water Street will be installed after North Ardenwald Improvements project repaves the roadway.
