King Road Improvements Open House

Save the date and drop-in! 

The city is designing a project to repave and add multiuse paths on King Road between 43rd Ave. and Linwood Ave. Drop-in during this open house to chat with the project team and learn more about the proposed improvements. 

Project Overview:

The King Road Improvements Project will repave King Road and create improved connections for people walking and biking. The project is part of the Safe Access for Everyone (SAFE) program, the city's program to improve safety for people walking, biking and more. It is funded by the SAFE program and the Street Surface Maintenance Program (SSMP). 

What this project will do: 

• Build a multiuse path on both sides of King Road. 
• Repave King Road between 43rd Avenue and Linwood Avenue. 
• Update curb ramps at each intersection to current ADA standards. 
• Make water mainline improvements.
