Project Details
In October 2024, the city will begin a maintenance project on the Stanley Reservoir located at Stanley Park (11800 SE Stanley Ave.). As part of this project the reservoir will receive:
- Structural Repairs
- Seismic fittings to prevent damage in the event of an earthquake
- Additional safety equipment for maintenance staff
- Lead paint removal
- New paint and mixer for improved water quality
This maintenance project will bring the 46 year old reservoir up to current standards. It will improve water quality and make the reservoir earthquake ready.
What to expect during construction:
- Daytime working hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday
- There may be dust, noise, and equipment on site
- Stanley Park will remain open!
- Heaters and dehumidifiers will operate 24-hours per day, which will improve paint curing and reduce the length of the project. All efforts are being made to minimize noise for adjacent residents.
