Kellogg Creek Bioblitz Volunteer Event
Date
Join the North Clackamas Watersheds Council (NCWC) on May 17 from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. for the Kellogg Creek Bioblitz! Help NCWC document the plants, birds, insects, and other wildlife that are currently present in and around the soon to be restored Kellogg Creek! The Kellogg Creek Bioblitz is an important part of NCWC’s ongoing efforts to monitor conditions in the natural areas surrounding the Kellogg Creek Impoundment before the Kellogg Creek Restoration and Community Enhancement Project goes to construction in 2028-29!
With the help of community scientists such as yourself, NCWC will document as many species as possible in the natural areas surrounding the Kellogg Creek Impoundment. Afterwards, everyone will celebrate their efforts with lunch provided!
The Bioblitz is open to everyone! Local experts will help with identification and data submission. Learn more and register for the Kellogg Creek Bioblitz on the NCWC website! And if you are interested in leading a survey group, email Peyton at peyton@ncwatersheds.org.
