Kellogg Creek Stewardship Day
Date
Join the North Clackamas Watersheds Council (NCWC) to provide some tending to natural areas adjacent to lower Kellogg Creek! Help remove invasive species in the Milwaukie Presbyterian Church Sanctuary, located right next to the Kellogg Impoundment and downtown Milwaukie.
Volunteers will gather at 9 a.m. for breakfast snacks, coffee and cocoa, andwill spend some time inside learning about the Kellogg Creek Restoration and Community Enhancement Project, a large, multifaceted restoration project led by the NCWC, the City of Milwaukie, the Oregon Department of Transportation and American Rivers. Afterwards, everyone will head outside to work on removing invasive species.
Alternatively, join the NCWC for a winter webinar to learn more about the Kellogg Project, without the outdoor activities! There are several options coming up, with one on February 12 during lunchtime (12 - 1 p.m.) and another in the evening on March 11 (6 - 7 p.m).
Register for these events here, or email Peyton at peyton@ncwatersheds.org.
