Al-Mutanabbi Street Starts Here! Bilingual Poetry reading

An afternoon of spoken poetry, read in Arabic and English, two of the world’s most poetic languages. There will be 12 poems read, six English poems with an Arabic translation and six Arabic poems with an English translation. They will be read in both languages. English speaking readers will be Bill Denham, David Filer, Tom Hogan, Brett Kelver, and Bev Spurgeon. The event is hosted by Dr. Bahar Butti and Tom Hogan. The event will be interactive and there will be a question and answer period after the readings.
