Braver Angeles is a national movement staffed by volunteers at the local level.  The driving mission of this movement is to bring people together to bridge the partisan divide while strengthening our democratic republic. It envisions an America with respectful embrace of political disagreements, where civic friendship flourishes, and competing perspectives strengthen us.

Conversations in these gatherings value respect, humility, honesty, and responsibility.  The goal is not to change people’s views of issues, but to change their views of each other. Volunteers hope these conversations help to overcome the various division (rural/urban, liberal/ conservative, red/blue) in Clackamas County to build stronger community.
