Library Strategic Plan
Vision: Milwaukie Ledding Library is part of a diverse and resilient city government, delivering effective public services that make our community great.
This Library Board-endorsed plan incorporates feedback from library staff, the Board, and community, and it provides direction through 2027.
It focuses on the following:
- Prioritize choices to relieve stress on funds, space and staff.
- Demonstrate the Library’s commitment to supporting the overall work of the city.
- Demonstrate the Library’s commitment to collaborating with the Libraries of Clackamas County (LINCC).
At the library, we can do anything, but we can’t do everything. This plan gives us intentional focus to prioritize what is important. It allows us to say yes and to say no in the aims of achieving larger goals.
As your Library Director, I’m very proud of this plan. I believe it balances the many needs of our community in a responsible way. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please reach out.
Cheers,
Brent Husher, Director
Milwaukie Ledding Library
