Seed Library

Check out seeds to grow and sow at home from our Seeds of Thanks seed library. 

We have a variety of seeds available including beans, peas, herbs, and flowers. Patrons may check out up to 10 varieties of seed per visit.

How to Use the Seed Library

• Please take only the amount of seeds you need, remember 1 seed = 1 plant.
• Place your seeds in a Seeds of Thanks envelope.
• Label the envelope with the plant name, variety, and planting notes.
• Take your seeds to our circulation desk for “check out.”
• There is no due date for seeds, but we encourage you to donate your surplus commercial or saved seeds back to the seed library!

If you've checked out seeds from the library, please share photos of your plants as they grow! Email them to Ledding@milwaukieoregon.gov
