Zoning Code Amendments Effective May 14, 2011
The amendments from the 2010 Code Tune-Up Project are effective as of Saturday, May 14, 2011. The on-line version of the Milwuakie Municipal Code (http://www.qcode.us/codes/milwaukie/) has been updated based on the new amendments. Some things to be aware of with the new amendments are:
- Many sections of the Zoning Ordinace have new reference numbers. Even though many of the basic zoning regulations did not change during the Tune-Up Project, they may have been reorganized or moved into a different chapter. Overall, these changes will make it easier to navigate through the code. Please see the reorganization guide in the link at the bottom of this page for a description of the new organization and renumbering.
- There have been revisions to Planning Department Forms and Handouts. Up-to-date forms and handouts will be available on the city website at the end of the day on Friday, May 13, 2011. If you have printed hard copies or saved electronic copies of Planning Department forms and handouts, please download the updated versions from the City website or pick up a new copy from the Planning Department front counter (6101 SE Johnson Creek Blvd.).
Information about what was changed in the Tune-Up Project can be found by following the link to the project webpage at the bottom of this page.
