Moving Forward Milwaukie: Downtown Plan and Code Amendments Q & A Session
Date
Drop in any time between 4:00 and 6:00!
Draft code amendments have been prepared that will shape the look of downtown Milwaukie over the next 20 years. The City is hosting an informal question and answer session about proposed amendments to the downtown use, development, and design regulations of the Zoning Ordinance, which will affect the standards that apply to downtown businesses, development, and redevelopment.
The amendments are a product of the Moving Forward Milwaukie project, and address things such as:
- How Downtown buildings look
- What types of businesses can occupy them
- How new development is reviewed
All of these pieces, when taken together aim to encourage the kind of development projects the community supports.
Drop in anytime to talk to staff about the proposed amendments and how your property or business might be affected. If this time does not work for you, contact Community Development at (503) 786-7600
