Project Details
The city's water division has performed routine maintenance on the green elevated water tank at SE 40th Avenue and Harvey Street. The project consisted of repairing and repainting the tank, inside and out and the work extended the life of this vital piece of the city’s drinking water system.
Project Schedule
FIRST WEEK OF MAY (tentative): Finish painting the lower portion of the legs and supports to the tank.
For more information about this project, contact public works at 503.786.7615.
Alerts & Updates
The work to the inside and outside of the water tank at 40th and Harvey is complete. The tank has been filled and put back in service. We are no longer using City of Portland water.
The contractor is scheduled to be on site the first week of May to finish painting the lower portion of the legs and supports to the tank. We are hoping the weather this week will be good enough for them to complete their work.
Thanks to all the neighbors of Water Tower Park for understanding as the project has been loud at times and rescheduled a couple of times.
