All Together Now is an intergenerational program for people of all ages to create and play together.

SPRING AND SUMMER CONTAINER GARDENING

Gardening in support of wildlife requires the provisions of food, shelter, and water. Learn ways to incorporate these elements in any size garden to create an eco-friendly habitat where wildlife can thrive.

All Together Now is a new intergenerational program for people of all ages to create and play together. Everyone's welcome!

We'll have coloring sheets both big and small, plus markers, pencils and crayons. Drop in and make something beautiful.

For over a century Irish language, history, and traditions were kept alive by men and women known as hedgerow teachers.  They traipsed the countryside of the Emerald Isle teaching in the shelter of hedgerows, barns, and botheys during the brutally repressive era of the Penal Codes. 

Storyteller William Kennedy Hornyak brings to life the spirit of a late-night hedgerow gathering with history, stories, songs, poems, and toasts in honor of those who instructed and inspired the minds and hearts of their people during those times.

For adult and older teen audiences (14+).

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with a traditional Lion Dance performance by White Lotus Dragon & Lion Dance.  Sponsored by the Friends of Ledding Library. 

This will be a hybrid meeting held at the new Milwaukie City Hall 10501 SE Main Street in the Dogwood Community Room and on Zoom (see Zoom invitation below).

Members of city council will gather for dinner at the home of Councilor Rebecca Stavenjord, 4467 SE Mason Hill Drive, Milwaukie, at p.m. City council will not be taking any action that day.

City council will not discuss city business or take any action during this dinner event. The dinner will not be recorded or broadcast. 

The Library is closing early at 3:30 PM PM due to icy weather conditions.
