Meet other local gardeners and share growing tips beginning at 1:00 pm in the Ledding Library Community Room. 

Join Gladstone author Sarah L. Sanderson and the founder of the Oregon Remembrance Project, Taylor Stewart, for a discussion of Sarah's book, The Place We Make: Breaking the Legacy of Legalized Hate. Sarah will share her own story of discovering that her ancestors participated in exiling Jacob Vanderpool from Oregon City in 1851 under the exclusion laws that prevented Black people from residing in Oregon.

Housing and homelessness is a visible and divisive issue in local media, in politics, and across different communities within our state. Many of us were experiencing housing instability and economic uncertainty even during the “boom” times before the current crisis. This conversation will explore common assumptions and perspectives about the experience of houselessness/homelessness and seek to answer the question, How do we decide who “belongs” in our community? 

All Together Now is a new intergenerational program for people of all ages to create and play together. Everyone's welcome!
