WHAT A fun-filled public Kick-Off event for Moving Forward Milwaukie: Enhancing Our Commercial Corridors
WHEN Thursday, October 3rd @6pm-7:30pm
WHERE St. John’s Episcopal Church at the corner of Jefferson and 21st (2036 SE Jefferson St, Milwaukie, Oregon). Entrance is on Jefferson St.
WHY To celebrate and kick-off the next phase of the Moving Forward Milwaukie: Enhancing Our Downtown Corridors project. This event is the start of an on-going conversation about the specific types of projects and policies that will help make the City’s commercial areas the economically successful, vibrant places the community needs!
ACTIVITIES The event will include a brief presentation to introduce the project, with an overview of opportunity sites, existing conditions, and verification of the direction received during the “Fresh Look Milwaukie: Downtown Road Map” project. Activities will include live audience polling, a chance to tell us how new development should look and function, and opportunities for one-on-one conversations with City staff and the project consultant team.
FOOD Light refreshments will be served.
