Linwood Neighborhood

The Linwood Neighborhood District Association (NDA) is an officially recognized NDA in the City of Milwaukie.

Stay up to date with the latest neighborhood news here and also using these resources:  

• Follow Linwood on their Facebook page. 
• The neighborhood has a column each month in the city's Pilot newsletter. 

A few annual programs and events in the Linwood Neighborhood primarily funded by Milwaukie's Neighborhood Enhancement Program have included:

• Adoption of Linwood Ave. (Harmony Rd. to King Rd.) - Spring cleanup will be April 2025. Date to be decided. 
  • The Linwood NDA adopted Linwood Ave. through the city's Adopt-a-Road Program in January 2016. 
  • Volunteers meet at Linwood/Sojourner Elementary School for refreshments, safety vests, and other tools. 

• Linwood NDA Plant Giveaway - May 12, 2025 - Check back for more information!

• Neighborhood Garage Sale - Sat., Jun. 7, 2025
  • Linwood NDA coordinates a neighborhood wide garage sale and anyone in Linwood can participate! Visitors to the garage sale can park at St. Paul's United Methodist Church (11631 SE Linwood Ave.) and then walk around the neighborhood. Maps of the houses having garage sales will be available at the church parking lot.

• Linwood Block Party - Sat., Aug. 30, 2025 (11 a.m. - 2 p.m.)  
  • Linwood annually holds a block party at Furnberg Park (6850 SE Furnberg St.) Labor Day weekend. Check back for more details. If you interested in helping out in advance of the event, contact the chair at the contact information below.
