REQUESTING A POLICE REPORT
REPORT REQUESTS:
The City of Milwaukie complies with the Oregon Public Records Law which allows the right to inspect public records of a public body in this state. City staff will review your request and contact you within a reasonable amount of time.
NOTE: there is currently a minimum 2 week turn-around for Police Records requests.
WE DO NOT RELEASE:
Cases under current investigation
Cases pending prosecution
Reports from other agencies (Requesting parties must contact the outside agency for report release)
Juvenile Cases
Child abuse or Child Sex Abuse cases
Medical Records
The Milwaukie Police Records Division is open Monday – Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. Please click on the link below to submit a formal request electronically. The Milwaukie Police Records Division will only honor your request once it has been submitted. We will not release any information over the phone or through e-mail. If you have any additional questions please contact our business line at 503-786-7400, opt 2.
Police Reports Fee
Body Worn Camera Footage $50.00 for 1st 15 minutes to pull footage, $50.00 for each additional hour to complete request
Video Tape Copy $35.00
Police Report $15.00
Photo CD $15.00
Traffic Citation Discovery $10.00
(Additional research charges may apply for unusual/complex requests)
