Juneteenth: City Offices & Library Closed

In observance of Juneteenth, City Hall (10722 SE Main St.), the Johnson Creek Building (6101 SE Johnson Creek Blvd.) and Ledding Library (10660 SE 21st Ave.), are closed. 

Hector Campbell Neighborhood - Events Committee

The Hector Campbell Neighborhood District Association (NDA) has formed an Events Committee. All are welcome to attend.

Municipal Court Offers Amnesty Program for Fines

Through July 29, 2022, Milwaukie Municipal Court is offering an amnesty program to forgive a portion of fines owed that are in collections. Pay 50% of the balance owed at collections, and the court will write off the remaining 50%. To qualify for the program, accounts must be:

Hydrant Meter Application

Rental of a Water Hydrant Meter requires payment of a refundable deposit and a Deposit Authorization Form must be submitted with deposit payment. 

Body-Worn Cameras

In an effort to increase community trust and transparency, the Milwaukie Police Department is implementing a body-worn camera program beginning July 2022. The program will include a department policy to guide the use of the cameras, which is currently being developed. To help inform the creation of the policy, the city is inviting the community to learn more about them and participate in a conversation online at Engage Milwaukie.

Apply for a Tree Permit

Tree permits have moved to GovBuilt, Milwaukie's new online permitting system.

Payment for Permits

Public tree removal/pruning permits as well as Type 2 private tree removal permits require a $50.00 application fee to be submitted along with the permit application. Type 1 private tree removal permits do not require an application fee.
